Welcome to Bellaire High School Color Guard!

Bellaire Color Guard Auditions:

The Bellaire High School Color Guard is excited to begin a new chapter, and we are officially inviting students to be part of rebuilding this growing program as a proud part of the Bellaire Mighty Cardinal Band.

Thank you to everyone who attended our interest meeting last Friday. It was exciting to see so much enthusiasm and support, and it made clear there is real momentum behind where this program can go. We are looking forward to building something special together.

Experience Clinics

April 28–30, 2026
5:00 PM–7:00 PM
Bellaire High School 

(Day 1 and 2 will be in the Band Hall)
(Day 3 will be in the cafeteria)

Our experience clinics are open to all interested students — no prior color guard experience is necessary.

Participants will have the opportunity to learn:

• Dance and movement fundamentals

• Basic flag technique

• How to tape a flag

• A short dance phrase and beginner flag combination

Please wear athletic clothing, bring water, and come ready to learn with a positive attitude. Students are also encouraged to invite friends who may be interested in joining.

Audition Day

May 1, 2026
5 PM–7:30 PM
BHS Cafeteria

Students auditioning should wear all black and come prepared to perform what they have learned during the clinics.
